The Golden Raspberry Awards® celebrate the worst in film achievement each year with the award of the Golden Raspberry® trophy.

“Winners” were determined by mailing ballots to 617 Golden Raspberry Award Foundation members throughout 39 U.S. states and 15 foreign countries. The award itself is a handcrafted gold spray-painted golf-ball-sized raspberry atop a mangled reel of Super 8 film, with an estimated street value of $4.89.

Hollywood’s Least Coveted Award Show: The Golden Raspberry Awards

Whether Eddie Murphy would show up to collect his $4.89 gold spray-painted Golden Razzie was the million-dollar question at the 28^th Annual Raspberry Awards.

Murphy managed to steal Lindsey Lohan’s thunder by garnering himself a record-setting five nominations in a single year and became the first performer ever to win three Worst Acting trophies in a single year for movie “Norbit”.

Lindsay Lohan equaled Murphy’s triple achievement winning three statuettes for movie “I Know Who Killed Me” and beating out Ice Cube’s “Are We Done Yet” in the Worst Remake or Rip-Off category.

The Cuba Gooding Jr. stinker “Daddy Day Camp” was crowned Worst Prequel or Sequel.

No winners showed up to claim their trophy at this year's ceremony, which was held in the Abracadabra Theater at Magicopolis in Santa Monica, CA on Saturday morning.

Traditional held a day before the Oscars dole out their accolades; The Golden Raspberry Awards honors the best of the worst with 11 categories of Worst Achievements in Film.
