From time to time, Ill feature stories from those in the industry that want to share career advice and words of wisdom. Bobby Peoples of the Peoples Film Company
First, I'd like to start off by saying, "It takes a lot of patience, dedication, and true heart to step out on faith and fulfill your hearts desires. Many people say what theyd like to do, I salute those that actually put one foot in front of the other and actually do it! Id like to introduce you all to someone whos defiantly "Driven in 2005!" Mr. Bobby Peoples of "The Peoples Film Company."
His name may escape you but youve probably seen some of his work. From screenwriter, director, producer, production assistant, production secretary, actor, etc. Bobby Peoples is a man of many talents. We at Blackflix.com salute all pioneers in the pursuit of filmmaking. Without your ingenious talent and vision, there will be no future - only a past for black films.
Bobby Peoples always dreamed about entering the entertainment business. After his stint in the US Army, Bobby decided to actively pursue his goal and enter the acting arena. After being rejected on several acting gigs, he entered film school and studied the art & craft of music and video production. He has done several projects for Dreamworks, Touchstone Pictures, New Millennium, to name a few. Bobby continued to have faith in his career and eventually became the captain on his own destiny thus heading his own flagship, "The Peoples Film Company." A place where he could write, produce, direct, not only his own work but to aid others who cannot find the talent or resources to enter into the business.
Bobbys latest release, "For thy Love" is currently out on release. (Synopsis) After five years of sexual frustration Belinda Warner decides that a little infidelity would be a much better fit to her relationship. Not knowing the consequence that awaits her in the midst of her own needs of sexual gratification. The path of self-destruction will be a hard one to not swallow.
