Pulp Fiction is strange enough, and off beat enough, to put this one into the 'Best Pictures of the Year' catagory.
The dictionary describes pulp as a cheap magazine dealing with sensational and lurid material. Well, that pretty much sums up the movie.
Pulp Fiction is three intertwining stories focusing on the seamy and violent underbelly of L.A. Quentin Tarantino, who directed the off-beat and violent Reservoir Dogs, goes over the top in this wickedly funny flick, chocked-full of colorful characters, humanity, slick and original dialogue, and unbelievable situations as the three stories double back to one another.
